What if something blocks the door after a storm?
All Shelters have an emergency hatch located in the back of the shelter.
Do these units have electricity?
No, however each shelter has battery operated lights.
Are pro storm shelters ada compliant?
Yes, our shelters are ADA compliant.
How long does installation take?
Installation typically takes about 2 hours to complete.
Can the shelter be relocated to a new site once installed?
Unfortunately, we do not offer the service of relocating the shelter to a new site after it has been installed.
How far from structures can the shelter be installed?
Leave a minimum of 2’ 6” from the side walls of the shelter and 3’ from the back wall of the shelter from other structures to allow room for the hydraulic legs to extend to raise and lower the shelter.
In-ground anchors are driven 4’ deep into the ground and will not penetrate roots, rocks, boulders, slabs, or other solid material. If you
have a soil with large rocks, roots, or a rock shelf, please let us know, and we can prepare a modified concrete anchor.
