Leave a minimum of 2’ 6” from the side walls of the shelter and 3’ from the back wall of the shelter from other structures to allow room for the hydraulic legs to extend to raise and lower the shelter.
In-ground anchors are driven 4’ deep into the ground and will not penetrate roots, rocks, boulders, slabs, or other solid material. If you
have a soil with large rocks, roots, or a rock shelf, please let us know, and we can prepare a modified concrete anchor.
No, however the site needs to prepared for the team to place the shelter safely.
The truck must be able to navigate safely from the road, alley or driveway to your selected site. This means that a clear path of a minimum of 10’ to 12’ wide and 12’ 6” high is required.
If you’re pouring a concrete pad for the shelter to sit on, it must be at least 10’ x 11’ (for an 8’ x 10’ shelter) or 8’ x 7’ (for a 6’ x 6’ shelter), 6” thick, protrude above the ground surface no more than 6”, and have rebar reinforcement along the entire perimeter. 3,500 PSI concrete is required.
